Slow Cooker Pumpkin Puree

The simplest pumpkin puree recipe. Set and forget!
Course: Cooking Base

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Small Pie Pumpkin
  • 1 Cup Water

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Method
 

  1. Cut pie pumpkin in half and scrape out insides and seeds.
  2. Place two halves facing down and add 1 Cup of water.
  3. Place Slow Cooker on 6-8 Hrs on Low or 4 Hrs on High.
  4. After Cooking scrape the insides out into a dish and allow it to cool.
  5. Remove the skins.
